RBD Block Challenge + Free Block Pattern
Are you participating in the RBD Block Challenge?
The challenge officially launched in February with a FREE block pattern releasing the first three Tuesday’s of each month. The blocks—sixteen total, were designed by some of your favorite designers from Riley Blake Designs, including myself.
Well, guess what? My block launches today!
My block, Summer Picnic has a gingham vibe, reminiscent of vintage picnic blankets and tablecloths. Perhaps one of the easiest blocks in the challenge, my block helps to break up the other blocks in the challenge.
After making one block, I decided to make two more! I had so much fun going through my fabric stash, coming up with four color and print combinations. I also had the chance to brush up on my cutting and nesting seams technique.
Which block of mine is your favorite?
You can download my block pattern from Riley Blake Designs website or by clicking on the button below.
You can also download the previous block patterns from RBD’s website or blog and join the challenge today! Be sure to check out the RBD Block Challenge Facebook Group.
I can’t wait to see your blocks this week. Eeeeep!
