Holly Holiday Fabric...

I’m thrilled to introduce you to Holly Holiday, my latest fabric collection for Riley Blake Designs.

I love Christmas—it’s one of my favorite holidays! There’s something so magical about the season. Some of my fondest memories are writing letters to Santa, circling what I wanted in the Sears and JcPenny holiday catalogs and wishing for the world to be alright.

Holly Holiday is about a magical, imaginary town where everything is bright and cheery. The sights and sounds of Christmas adorn every shop and home. The trees sparkle and shine with lights galore. Snow falls lightly through the air and the scent of fresh flowers and pine remind you of Christmas’ past.

In one particular little home, tucked away at the end of the magical, imaginary town is a little girl named Holly. She’s writing her letter to Santa. “Dear Santa,” she writes, “Can I pwease have a dolly that laughs and cries, and for the world to be alright?”

This collection, I hope, brings back those magical memories to you and all your sewing projects.

Available in May, there are eight prints in three color ways. The collection features traditional Christmas colors like red, green, and white but also features grey, pink, and one color that pulls the entire collection together—charcoal. This collection is perfect for quilting, apparel, and home decor.

There’s also a beautiful mix of traditional Christmas prints like Holly and Snowflakes while the multicultural Santa, Candy Stripe, and Holiday Greeting text print add a modern flare.

But wait, there’s more!

My friend Beverly of Flamingo Toes has a beautiful quilt pattern that’s perfect for Holly Holiday. It’s called the Window to the Gardens quilt. You can find more details about it in her shop.

And…

I’m excited to share there’s also a quilt kit that features Holly Holiday and my basic Blossom.

The quilt kit, O’ Christmas Tree highlights the pattern by my friend Amanda of Material Girl Quilts. It’s the perfect size for a table topper or advent calendar.

Speaking of advent calendar—there’s a felt ornament panel available too. Each ornament is 2 1/2’’ x 2 3/4’’ and can turn any holiday project or decoration into an advent calendar.

Add the ornaments to the O’ Christmas Tree quilt kit to create an advent calendar or hang the ornaments from garland adorning your banister or mantel. Either way this panel will be a great addition to your holiday decor!

Mark your calendars now because Riley Blake Designs is hosting a Holly Holiday blog tour in May. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it!
